Programs of Study- Public Service Technologies

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) is sensitive to the need for qualified persons in the various fields of human services. The Public Service Technologies Division offers degree, diploma, and certificate programs geared to prepare students for such opportunities. These programs combine classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and practicum experience to ensure that students obtain the most current skills required by their chosen profession. Program lengths vary based on program type and number of hours taken each semester.

Associate degrees are 1½ to 2 years in length, diploma programs are 1 to 1 ½ years in length, and certificate lengths vary from 1 to 4 semesters. Individual program descriptions identify specifics. Most courses are offered day and evening. Students completing courses only in evening will normally take longer to complete a program.
