State Aid Programs
The State of Georgia provides a variety of grant, scholarship, and tuition assistance programs to eligible students. While eligibility requirements vary by program, most state aid programs require students to meet applicable Georgia residency requirements, be enrolled in an eligible program of study at an eligible institution, and maintain satisfactory academic progress as required by the institution.
Students seeking consideration for state aid should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or the Georgia Student Finance Application (GSFAPP), as applicable. Submission of one or both applications may be required depending on the state aid program for which the student is seeking eligibility.
Additional eligibility requirements, award criteria, renewal requirements, and application procedures are provided in the individual program descriptions that follow.
