Institutional Aid Programs

Scholarships are administered through the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Foundation. Scholarship applications are available at https://gntc.awardspring.com/ and are open June 1-30 for fall and October 1-31 for spring. Students are automatically matched with any scholarship for which they are qualified candidates. A complete list of scholarships with their requirements and award amounts can be found on the foundation page of the GNTC website. Ordinarily, no foundation scholarships are awarded for summer term; however, the Disabled Veterans Support Scholarship is currently offered every semester. 

Students may apply for emergency financial assistance at any time they are enrolled in the college. This application is available from the GNTC Foundation office and can be found on the “Forms Manuals Documents” page of GNET2. Awards typically range from $100 to $500, and priority is given to students who've completed at least one semester recently at GNTC but do not have a credential/degree. 

Students awarded scholarships and assistance must submit a thank-you letter and photo to the foundation as a condition of their award.
