Program Description
The Fire Officer II Technical Certificate of Credit program is conducted in cooperation with the Georgia Fire Academy and Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training to ensure graduates have the skills, knowledge, and credentials to serve as a Fire Company Officer in paid and volunteer fire departments. Upon successful completion of assigned NPQ tasks, graduates will have the opportunity to be tested and certified at the National Professional Qualifications Fire Officer II Level. Program graduates receive a Fire Officer II Technical Certificate of Credit. Students should be graduates of the Fire Officer I Technical Certificate of Credit before enrolling in this program.
Note: Candidates must be certified at the level of NPQ Fire Officer I to be eligible for NPQ Fire Officer II certification.
