Financial Aid
Georgia Northwestern Technical College recognizes that some students need financial assistance. Students at GNTC can look to several areas for financial assistance: Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, HOPE Scholarship and Grant programs, Zell Miller Scholarship and Grant programs, DREAMS funding, Federal Work Study, Georgia Northwestern Technical College Foundation Scholarships, and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA).
To apply for financial aid, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. To apply for HOPE or Zell Miller funds only, a student may complete the Georgia Student Finance Application (GSFAPP) at gafutures.org. Students should allow two to three business days for applications to be processed by the Georgia Student Finance Commission. Applicants completing a FAFSA® should receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) or confirmation from the U.S. Department of Education via mail or email. The Financial Aid Office will receive notification of the student’s application and contact the student if any additional information is required.
