CHET 2100 Industrial Chemistry I
Provides an introduction to some of the basic chemical principles and concepts with which an industrial laboratory technician should be familiar. Topics include laboratory safety and documentation, measurement and units, dyes, pigments, coatings, radioactive elements and decay, and natural and synthetic polymers. The lab component will support content and include basic use of chemical fume hood and controlled-atmosphere glove box environments.
