LACT 1111 Practicum II
This clinical experience guides the student through pre and post-partum management of lactation in doctors offices, clinics and hospitals. Students will assist the breastfeeding dyad with positive breastfeeding practices through education and counseling, to include teaching a breastfeeding class. Students will observe and evaluate feedings based on learned criteria. Students will also demonstrate correct documentation of lactation history and assessments.
